Job summary

eXPD8 is seeking a Beauty Retail Merchandiser to join the team in Bournemouth. You will visit stores to set up and maintain displays, following planograms and client guidelines to ensure displays are attractive, safe, and compliant with standards.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with responsibilities including reporting via mobile devices and building professional relationships with store staff. This is a fixed-term contract with potential for permanent work.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or retail demonstrated by prior roles.
• Ability to report findings via mobile devices and keep records up to date.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements in store environments.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned stores on schedule to set up and maintain product displays
• Follow instructions (planograms) and client guidelines for each visit
• Make sure displays look great, are safe, and meet company and legal standards
• Take clear photos and write short reports after each visit using company systems
• Let your Team Leader know if you run into problems (like missing stock or access issues)
• Build good relationships with store staff and represent the company professionally
• Keep up with any required training or certifications
• Complete all store visits on time
• Follow instructions and keep displays looking their best

eXPD8 have got an exciting opportunity to join us as a Beauty Retail Merchandiser based in Bournemouth.

Hours: 10 hours

• Sunday


• Monday


• Friday

This is a fixed term contract that ends 28 December 2026, however there would be opportunity for the right candidate to move to permanent work.

There may be opportunities to work across other categories including, but not limited to,Books and Entertainment, Toys and General Merchandising.

What You Will Do:

• Visit assigned stores on schedule to set up and maintain product displays


• Follow instructions (planograms) and client guidelines for each visit


• Make sure displays look great, are safe, and meet company and legal standards


• Take clear photos and write short reports after each visit using company systems


• Let your Team Leader know if you run into problems (like missing stock or access issues)


• Build good relationships with store staff and represent the company professionally


• Keep up with any required training or certifications


• Complete all store visits on time


• Follow instructions and keep displays looking their best

What You will Need:

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car (if needed)


• Experience in merchandising, retail, or customer service


• Good at organizing your own work and managing your time


• Comfortable working on your own and following instructions


• Good communication skills


• Able to use a smartphone or tablet for reporting


• Understand basic health and safety


• Be honest, respectful, and positive
