Overview

Retail Merchandiser based in the BL4 9LS area, working primarily within The Entertainer concession inside Tesco. There may be opportunities to work across other categories including, but not limited to, Books and Entertainment, Health and Beauty. You will be responsible for ensuring fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and shelves are well-stocked.

Role base: Tesco Farnworth. Confirmed working hours: 17. Mon 08:00-12:00; Tue 09:00-12:00; Wed 09:00-12:00; Thu 08:00-12:00; Fri 14:30-17:30. Plus ad hoc work as interested and agreed.

Responsibilities

• Be expert at the Entertainer brand and products, and share that knowledge with your team.
• Know and follow merchandising standards, store policies, procedures, and health and safety guidance.
• Follow and implement planograms to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
• Arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and offers.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
• Provide accurate and timely feedback to client account teams via the feedback application.
• Move and arrange products from warehouse to shopfloor as needed (manual handling).
• Be comfortable with home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (paid extra).
• Be confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about tasks.
