JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Director of Ecommerce, the Retail Media Manager (RMM) will strategize, develop, and execute retail media plans to support ghd sales on Amazon and selected e-commerce partners. Collaborating with Key Accounts Managers, the RMM will bring the ghd brand to life across retail media platforms.

The role involves planning and implementing marketing activities to drive profitable growth and meet financial targets for the UK and Ireland markets, which are critical for global brand sustainability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and evolve retail media strategy, collaborating with global teams and other markets.
  • Create a roadmap for retail media growth, ensuring investment in the right activations and retailers.
  • Plan and execute online retail media campaigns to increase awareness and purchase intent.
  • Optimize performance metrics such as revenue, ROAS, share of voice, EMV, and SEO ranking.
  • Manage reporting, commentary, and innovation deliverables.
  • Identify testing opportunities, plan, execute, and evaluate campaigns methodically.
  • Communicate retail media insights clearly to retailers, establishing expertise.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with retail partners, challenging on-site execution and campaign strategies.
  • Manage budgets and investments effectively.
  • Oversee agency management for Amazon marketing cloud.
  • Track KPIs using marketing dashboards.
  • Stay updated on retail media trends through events and trade shows.
  • Contribute to ecommerce strategy through partnerships and optimizations.
  • Represent ghd at industry events, building networks and inspiring stakeholders.
  • Coordinate virtual and physical events with online retail partners.
  • Develop differentiation strategies for retail partners, optimizing their USPs.
  • Enhance systems, data accuracy, and reporting processes.
  • Manage brand and campaign materials for online retail channels.
  • Ensure ghd's digital presence is 'Best in Class' across platforms.
  • Measure ROI and EMV from campaigns and influencer partnerships.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven media expertise with a track record of delivering revenue and KPI targets.
  • Amazon advertising expertise.
  • Experience activating campaigns across retail media networks.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and remain agile.
  • Experience in executing marketing activities successfully.
  • Understanding of UK & Ireland retail and beauty industries.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills, proficient with MS Office.
