Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Maintenance Technician to cover Newquay, Padstow and surrounding areas. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across store systems and equipment, working with contractors and store teams to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance, engineering, or construction environment.
• Proactive mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Digitally confident using a tablet to view schedules and manage emails.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate repairs with external contractors to minimise disruption.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver quality service.
• Maintain high energy levels while juggling tasks.
• Assist the Management Team to keep stores operating smoothly.
• Follow planned work schedules to achieve first-time fixes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain general day-to-day store and property maintenance.
• Use mobile devices to drive updates and communication.
• Represent Tesco values and wear Tesco uniform with pride.
• Attend local and national meetings and contribute input.
• Support a diverse and inclusive culture.
