Job description

Weekly Hours: Mon to Thurs 8.00am to 5.00pm & Fri 8.00am to 2.00pm

We are seeking a talented and driven Retail Kitchen Sales Designer to join our innovative and dynamic team at BA Components. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key role in crafting bespoke, functional, and visually stunning kitchen designs for our retail customers. You will engage with clients remotely, offering expert design advice, creating tailored proposals, and ensuring seamless customer journeys from concept to completion. The role requires knowledge of kitchen design principles, an understanding of different kitchen styles and materials, and experience using Winner software.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Consultation: Collaborate with retail customers remotely; understanding their needs and preferences to create customised kitchen designs. Provide guidance through every step of the design and ordering process.
  2. Design Creations: Use Winner CAD software to create precise, aesthetically pleasing kitchen layouts that balance form and function.
  3. Quotations and Proposals: Produce detailed quotations encompassing all customer specifications, ensuring accuracy.
  4. Expert Guidance: Offer technical advice and design recommendations to help customers achieve their ideal kitchen.
  5. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and satisfaction.
  6. Trend Awareness: Stay current on kitchen design trends, materials, and technologies to keep designs innovative.
  7. Self-Driven Performance: Demonstrate proactive and motivated work habits, capable of working independently or in a team.
  8. Documentation and Administration: Maintain accurate records of designs, quotations, and orders using Excel and other software.
  9. Adherence to Systems: Follow internal processes to ensure high standards of work and customer experience.
Experience / Skills Required
  • Proven success in achieving sales targets within the kitchen industry.
  • Exceptional communication skills for building rapport via email and phone.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, especially Winner, with a solid understanding of kitchen design principles.
  • Deep knowledge of kitchen components, technical specifications, and installation standards.
  • Ability to work from scaled drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data and design tracking.

Proficient in Compusoft Winner CAD software and practical experience in high-end kitchen design with a portfolio showcasing your work.
