Job summary

APPLEGREEN USA CENTRAL SERVICES LLC in Spears Creek, South Carolina, is seeking a General Manager for a C-Store. This salaried position will oversee daily store operations, staff, inventory, and profitability, reporting to the District Manager.

The General Manager will manage schedules, training, sales reporting, and customer service excellence while driving gross and net margins to meet targets. Flexibility for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and management skills with ability to motivate staff.
• Experience working to targets, KPI’s and measurements.
• Understanding of P&L and financials.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Flexible and open schedule.
• Retail management experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff management: interview, selection, and training of all staff for the retail location.
• Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of staff.
• Confirms daily sales reports and cash receipts; ensures monies are deposited regularly, and reports are submitted as prescribed by company policies.
• Ensure store standards are consistently improved in terms of housekeeping, merchandising, presentation, and service.
• Holds regular communication meetings with staff to ensure all plans are carried out.
• Addresses customer needs and resolves issues, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships.
• Ensures inventory data is correct by performing spot inventory counts and checks.
• Collaborates with regional managers to develop, coordinate, and identify cost-effective advertising and hiring strategies.
• Ensures that the store always looks clean and inviting.
• Achieve Gross Profit Margin, Net Margin and Sales Targets as agreed with District Managers
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
