Job summary

Certas Energy is recruiting a Retail Food Service Assistant for a store on Aikenhead Rd in Glasgow. This part-time role covers 12 hours per week with a pay rate of £13.45 per hour. You will deliver high-quality food and customer service while supporting daily store operations.

You will be preparing and serving food to standards, handling till transactions, and maintaining hygiene and safety. Prior food service or retail experience is desirable but training is provided.

• Experience in food service or retail is desirable but not essential.
• Applicants must be 18+ due to licensing and lone working requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot and cold food and beverages to company standards.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the till.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness.
• Replenish stock and ensure displays are well presented.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and company procedures.
• Support the smooth operation of the forecourt, store and food service area.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Food Service Assistant to join our team. As part of our store team, you’ll play a key role in both customer service and food preparation. You’ll help deliver a high-quality food offer while ensuring an excellent customer experience and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the site.
