Job summary

Dune London is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to join our fast-paced retail and ecommerce finance team. You will partner with Retail, Digital Trading and Performance Marketing to provide insightful analysis, own budget areas, and lead month-end activities for cost centres.

You will analyse sales and profitability across stores and online channels, challenge spend, support commercial projects, automate reporting, and deliver ad hoc analysis to drive commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in management accounting, ideally in retail, ecommerce or a consumer brand with commercial understanding
• Working towards a professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or newly qualified with month-end experience
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI) and accounting systems (SUN)
• Strong retail/ecommerce economics understanding including gross margin and cost drivers
• Excellent communication, able to explain numbers to non-finance colleagues

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journals, reconciliations and reporting for designated cost areas
• Review P&L performance, investigate variances and identify key drivers
• Produce and present monthly reporting packs and finance insights to stakeholders
• Support turnover rent reporting, audits and month-end deadlines
• Own annual budgeting and rolling forecasts
• Analyse sales and profitability across stores and ecommerce
• Partner with stakeholders to review spend and support decisions
• Automate reporting and deliver ad hoc analysis
