Product Development Assistant

An exciting Product Development Assistant Opportunity has come up with a central London based company that design, develop and deliver first class Home Fragrance and Beauty products to world-leading retailers.

Working in the product team, you will be responsible for assisting in product development, sample management, project coordination, critical path management, and working closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Product Manager in managing the critical path, ensuring deadlines are met alongside Merchandiser and Product Developer.
  • Coordinate sample deliveries, collections, and track sample movement between teams, clients, and factories.
  • Support in processing, labelling, photographing, and logging received samples for marketing, press, and Ecommerce.
  • Ensure samples are organized for meetings and maintain a tidy sample checking area.
  • Update product, packaging, and labelling documents, and support in checking product packaging artworks and supplier communications.

Required Experience and skills

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in sample and product management
  • High proficiency in MS Office; Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Strong time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced design/import environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for building professional relationships internally and externally.
  • Positive, self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude and ability to work under pressure.
