Product Developer

Up to £35,000

A growing outdoor sportswear brand is looking for a Product Developer to work alongside the development and design teams to ensure their products are continuously being approved while maintaining continuity and consistency across all products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure size charts and tech packs are issued correctly and manage timelines in which they are issued to suppliers
  • Measure, inspect, and comment on samples
  • Make timely approvals on lab dips, trims, and print strike-offs in line with the critical path
  • Maintain the block library and ensure size charts follow the brand’s standards
  • Review test reports against testing matrix, care label approvals, and AQL reports
  • Maintain strong relationships with factory partners, suppliers, and external colleagues
  • Drive weekly supplier meetings and team calls
  • Improve intake margin through garment engineering and appropriate fabric utilisation
  • Work with the sourcing team on cross-costing projects and open-cost exercises when necessary
  • Attend and contribute to weekly critical path meetings
  • Ensure products are compliant with relevant legislation
  • Conduct supplier and factory visits to improve production
