Job summary

ECG Facilities Services is seeking an experienced Fabric Engineer/Handyperson for the St James Quarter site in Edinburgh. This hands-on, multi-skilled role covers joinery, decoration, plumbing and general repairs to maintain high presentation of retail spaces, service areas and car parks. You will work to a PPM and reactive schedule, ensuring safety and operational standards.

Hours: 40 per week. Benefits include Life Assurance, 25 days holiday, wellbeing app access, paid maternity/paternity

Qualifications

Multi-skilled fabric maintenance experience in a commercial building/FM environment.
Experience with joinery, decoration, tiling, ceilings, flooring and minor plumbing.
CSCS card and/or IOSH Working Safely – desirable.

Responsibilities

Carry out joinery, decoration, minor plumbing and handyperson repairs to a high standard.
Perform routine fabric inspections and reactive repairs across malls and back-of-house areas.
Operate the CAFM system to log tasks with accurate labour and materials.
