Job summary

Air Recruitment is seeking a Retail & Experiential Designer to join an independent studio in Battersea, hybrid working between the Battersea studio and remote. The role combines 3D spatial design and 2D graphics to create physical brand experiences for major global brands.

You’ll translate briefs into deliverable environments, develop concepts with 3D models and visualisations, and collaborate with producers.

Qualifications

• Portfolio showing retail design, branded environments, or experiential work.
• Ability to translate briefs into spatial concepts.
• Experience delivering deliverable designs within budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts for retail environments, pop-ups, exhibitions and brand activations.
• Translating client briefs and brand guidelines into distinctive physical experiences.
• Creating spatial layouts, 3D models, visualisations and presentation materials.
• Designing supporting 2D graphics, signage and branded elements.
• Developing concepts through materials, finishes, lighting and construction details.
• Preparing design information for production and collaborating on technical development.
• Working with Producers and Production Managers to balance design ambition, budget and programme.
• Reviewing supplier proposals, samples and fabrication details to protect design intent.
• Incorporating client feedback and presenting your thinking clearly.
• Supporting site visits and installation reviews where required.
