Retail Minibus Team Driver

Salary: £13.73 inclusive of holiday pay (£12.25 per hour + £1.48 holiday pay)* + Enhancements

Location: Huddersfield

(8-10 hour stock count shifts + paid driving time + bonus)

*Access to wages from 3 days after shift completion. Company minibus provided. Immediate start. Holiday pay.

The Role
  • We are seeking a Retail Minibus Team Driver to join our successful team.
  • This role involves overseeing the transportation of a small team of stock counters to and from each shift within your region.
  • The work will be conducted on various retail customer sites and stores, with travel varying per shift.
  • You will need to notify your team of pick-up points and timings for each shift and escalate vehicle issues promptly.
  • You will complete a team attendance sheet, recording expected attendees, actual attendance, and bus arrival times.
  • While on site, you will ensure stock is counted efficiently and accurately using a handheld scanner.
  • The role requires standing for prolonged periods and occasionally using equipment to reach high stock.
Key Skills/Experience Required
  • This role involves working unsociable hours, including early mornings and night shifts. Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
  • You must hold a full driving license.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work long shifts on large counts are essential.
  • Being a quick learner is important due to technological updates.
  • Previous stock handling experience is advantageous but not necessary.
