Job Description

Retail Door Supervisor

We want you to bring your skills and passion for retail to continually improve how we serve our customers.

Working with the team, you will foster a culture of managing risk by being commercially aware, while creating a welcoming, safe, and secure shopping and working environment. Your presence will help protect the store and minimize stock loss.

You will be a point of contact for customers and visitors, greeting, guiding, and advising them, while remaining vigilant to potential risks. You will complete tasks to promote a stock loss culture, such as training staff, reviewing data, conducting risk assessments, and building relationships with external agencies.

You will assist management in ensuring the store is a safe and secure place to work and shop. This includes identifying and communicating risks, conducting safety checks, reporting information, and acting as a deterrent on the shop floor.

You will ensure company policies and standards are adhered to at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail is essential
• A people manager, able to plan, organize, and delegate responsibilities
• Committed to working as part of a large team
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Confident communicator capable of building relationships
• Observant, able to detect risks, and de-escalate challenging situations
