Job Introduction
At Sodexo, we believe in delivering exceptional experiences for our patients, visitors, and staff.We are looking for a Retail Catering Housekeeper to join our friendly, hardworking team at North Devon District Hospital, where you’ll help ensure our retail and catering spaces are clean, welcoming, and operate to the highest standards.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be a key part of maintaining high-quality retail environments including the Aspretto Café, Costcutter, Raleigh Gallery, Sodexo offices, Trust offices, and meeting spaces.

What you’ll do:
Carry out daily cleaning duties in retail areas and offices following set schedules
Safely use and maintain cleaning equipment and materials in line with COSHH guidelines
Serve food and drinks to staff and visitors, ensuring good presentation and portion control
Operate tills and handle cash securely
Clear tables and maintain a clean, hygienic dining environment
What you bring:
Previous experience in a catering or customer-facing environment
Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices
Flexible, organised, and able to work independently and as part of a team
NVQ Level 2 in Hospitality, Catering or Customer Service
Understanding of infection prevention and control in healthcare setting
