About the Job

Our Retail District Managers are a highly engaged team driving new opportunities and experiences within stores, leading high-performing teams who exceed objectives and exude passion for Bath & Bodyworks products and mission. As our North-focused Retail District Manager, you will be required to travel between our 24 Northern-based locations.

What you will be doing…

People

  • Provides leadership & acts in line with company expectations
  • Builds strong working relationships with store teams and all BBW stakeholders
  • Actively seeks opportunities to self-develop and learn from new experiences
  • Guides and supports the Senior Retail District Manager and Store Managers
  • Recruits the best candidates and coaches them for success
  • Develops and inspires a motivated team who drive business objectives and exceed KPIs
  • Encourages and values diversity to achieve fully inclusive teams and goals
  • Supports the wellbeing and fair treatment of the team, ensuring all have equal opportunities
  • Celebrates success, gives praise regularly, and deals with underperformance promptly and firmly
  • Implements company policies, ensuring they are followed by all BBW associates
  • Confidently supports senior executive visits
  • Is receptive to feedback and gains insight from mistakes
  • Ensures all BBW team members follow the Behaviours to Win and embrace the BBW brand values

Product

  • Knows the product, creates passion and excitement around each new launch, and ensures this cascades to the team
  • Supports store teams to ensure VM guidelines are well executed to maximize sales
  • Investigates, provides feedback, and follows up on stock issues to keep stores full and abundant
  • Ensures stores are well maintained, with all equipment in working order and damage-free
  • Provides insights into effective promotions and collaborates with the B&M team
  • Liaises with marketing teams to ensure marketing is available and clearly displayed, providing feedback on in-store issues

Profit

  • Selling is key; all BBW associates must demonstrate behaviors to maximize sales
  • Focuses on growing the BBW brand and profit opportunities
  • Provides regular feedback to stakeholders and seeks ways to drive the business forward
  • Analyzes sales figures, identifies anomalies, and reacts quickly to underperforming locations
  • Maintains high standards through the team with strong competitor awareness
