Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres is seeking Retail Customer Advisors to deliver an exceptional store experience across our outlets. You will drive sales, help customers with transactions, and promote the Dobbies Club membership.

We value teamwork, reliability, and a positive, can-do attitude. You’ll work on the shop floor and in different store areas, gaining new skills while supporting stock, cash handling and restaurant services where required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role.

• Eager to learn new skills in a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with transactions and provide great service across the store.
• Promote Dobbies Club membership to drive sales.
• Answer customer queries with product knowledge.
• Help maintain store cleanliness and appearance.
• Support stock handling, cash handling, and stock control tasks as needed.

Job description

Our Retail Customer Advisors play an essential role in delivering an exceptional customer experience across our stores - driving sales, promoting customer loyalty and ensuring high department standards.

Responsibilities

• Giving great customer service by helping customers with various transactions across the store
• Driving sales through customer interactions, whilst promoting the benefits of the Dobbies Club membership
• Offering a helping hand with customer queries through great product knowledge
• Working with your team to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of your store
• You will also work on the shopfloor and other areas of the store as and when required, this may include working stock, cash handling, take to car deliveries, stock control routines, restaurant services - an ideal opportunity to gain more skills and experience
