Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd is seeking a Retail Customer Advisor to deliver outstanding service, drive sales, and promote the Dobbies Club across our stores. You will use product knowledge to assist customers and work with the team to keep the store clean and well-presented.

Ideal candidates are customer-focused, able to work in a busy environment, and eager to learn new skills while supporting colleagues and delivering a high standard of service daily.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Able to work well in a busy retail environment.
• Friendly and adaptable with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service across store transactions.
• Promote Dobbies Club membership to drive sales and loyalty.
• Assist customers with queries using product knowledge.
• Maintain store cleanliness and standards with the team.
• Assist on shopfloor including stock, deliveries, and cafe/restaurant areas.

Our Retail Customer Advisors play an essential role in delivering an exceptional customer experience across our stores - driving sales, promoting customer loyalty and ensuring high department standards.

Responsibilities

• Giving great customer service by helping customers with various transactions across the store
• Driving sales through customer interactions, whilst promoting the benefits of the Dobbies Club membership
• Offering a helping hand with customer queries through great product knowledge
• Working with your team to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of your store
• You will also work on the shopfloor and other areas of the store as and when required, this may include working stock, cash handling, take to car deliveries, stock control routines, restaurant services - an ideal opportunity to gain more skills and experience
