Job summary

Asda Home Office invites applications for a Retail Communication and Activity Planning Coordinator. This full-time, fixed-term role focuses on delivering clear communications to Retail and Depot teams and supporting central activity planning to drive excellent customer service and efficient operations.

Hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days per week in a Home Office is expected, with additional days possibly required to visit suppliers, stores or depots.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Retail or Internal communications, preferably for a large organisation.
• Strong written, verbal and digital communication skills with a talent for producing clear messaging.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise under pressure.
• Flexibility to respond quickly to urgent communication needs and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and execute retail communications, ensuring messaging is clear and relevant for store teams.
• Coordinate reactive communications with key teams such as Commercial, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Customer and People.
• Engage with stakeholders to create streamlined activity plans.
• Support the management of the Activity budget.
• Manage communication timelines to keep messages timely and consistent.
