About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Store Manager at our Lowmoss convenience/ fuel store site.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced supervisor or manager to join our team.

You will be accountable for driving sales, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining the highest customer and operational standards in line with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, underage sales, and food hygiene legislation.
  • Monitor store performance, implement strategies to maximize profitability, and minimize loss.
  • Maintain a high standard of store presentation and stock availability.
  • Recruit, train, and develop store colleagues, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment.
  • Drive customer engagement and satisfaction through excellent service and product knowledge.
  • Act as the main point of contact for senior management, ensuring all business objectives are met.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience in a retail management/ supervisory role, preferably within a convenience store/food / fashion /hospitality retail environment.
  • Strong supervisory/ leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A results-driven approach with a focus on achieving targets.
  • Experience in cash management and stock control.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, food hygiene, and underage sales legislation.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The operating hours of the store are 6am -10pm, Monday to Sunday, you will manage your own shift patterns.
