Job summary

Arcus FM Limited in Whitby is seeking two part-time In Store Cleaners to join Sainsbury's Whitby store on a permanent basis. You will work 18 hours per week at £12.71 per hour, with immediate start available.

The role offers early morning, morning, afternoon and evening shifts, including weekend work, with overtime opportunities. Flexible hours and 28 days pro rata holiday are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.
• An eye for detail and cleanliness.
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
• Smartphone with NFC capability to access Arcus Connect App (required for recording time and attendance).

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning machinery.
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to keep stores clean.
• In-store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as required.
• Work outside in trolley bays to keep them clean and free of leaves and debris.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit two part-time In Store Cleaners based in Sainsbury's Whitby store on a permanent basis. 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71. Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and Arcus offers various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

18 hours per week: Sunday 15:00–18:00; Monday 13:00–16:00; Tuesday 13:00–16:00; Wednesday 13:00–16:00; Thursday Day off; Friday 13:00–16:00; Saturday 13:00–16:00

18 hours per week: Sunday 06:00–09:00; Monday 06:00–09:00; Tuesday 06:00–09:00; Wednesday 06:00–09:00; Thursday 06:00–09:00; Friday Day off; Saturday 06:00–09:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.
