At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit 2 part-time In-store Cleaners based in Sainsbury's Truro store on a permanent basis. Role 1 involves 19 hours per week and Role 2 involves 21 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £12.21.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week, and at Arcus, we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working options. Our shift patterns include early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Role 1

• Sunday: Day off
• Monday: 18:00 - 21:00
• Tuesday: 18:00 - 21:00
• Thursday: 18:00 - 21:00
• Friday: 18:00 - 21:00
• Saturday: 18:00 - 21:00

Role 2

• Sunday: 10:00 - 16:00
• Monday: Day off
• Tuesday: 10:00 - 13:00
• Thursday: 10:00 - 13:00
• Friday: 10:00 - 13:00
• Saturday: 10:00 - 13:00

You will also have opportunities to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in Sainsbury's supermarkets. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carrying out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies
• Working outside to keep trolley bays clean and debris-free
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed

Arcus will provide full training to support you in your role.

What will you need?

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided
• An eye for detail and cleanliness
• A positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service
