Retail Cleaner

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part-time In-store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Dartford store on a permanent basis. This role offers 9 hours per week at an hourly rate of £11.44, with an immediate start available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week. We offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working options, including early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: Day Off
• Monday: Day Off
• Tuesday: Day Off
• Wednesday: 05:30 - 08:00
• Thursday: 05:30 - 08:00
• Friday: 05:30 - 07:30
• Saturday: 05:30 - 07:30

You may also have opportunities to increase your hours through overtime. Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for customers. Your responsibilities will include completing daily cleaning tasks to maintain high standards, such as:

• Operating machinery
• Thorough cleaning including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as needed
• Maintaining outdoor trolley bays, keeping them free of leaves and debris
• Applying health and safety procedures

Arcus provides full training to support you in your role.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided
• An eye for detail and cleanliness
• A positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service
• You will need to provide a smartphone capable of accessing our Arcus Connect App for recording time and attendance, which is a condition of employment.
