At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part-time In-store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Winterstoke Road store on a permanent basis. This role offers 16 hours per week at an hourly rate of £12.21, with an immediate start available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week. We offer various shift patterns, including 5 and 6-day schedules, with shifts in the early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening, including weekends. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: Day off
• Monday to Friday: 05:00 - 08:00
• Saturday: 05:00 - 06:00

You will also have opportunities to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for customers. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as needed
• Maintaining outside areas such as trolley bays, keeping them free of leaves and debris
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed

Full training will be provided by Arcus.

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided. You should have an eye for detail and cleanliness, and a positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service.

Please note, you will need to provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of employment.
