Job description

Job Title: In-store Cleaner at Sainsbury's Brentwood

Are you someone who enjoys working in a customer-focused environment and takes pride in maintaining cleanliness? Do you thrive as part of a team to deliver sparkling results for customers?

Arcus is seeking a dedicated part-time In-store Cleaner based at Sainsbury's Brentwood store on a permanent basis. The role offers 20 hours per week at an hourly rate of £12.21, with an immediate start available.

Sainsbury's stores operate 7 days a week. We offer various shift patterns, including 5 and 6-day schedules, with shifts in the early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening, including weekends. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: Day Off
• Monday: 19:00-22:00
• Tuesday: 19:00-22:00
• Thursday: 19:00-22:00
• Friday: 19:00-22:00
• Saturday: 17:00-22:00

You will also have the opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

As a cleaner at Arcus, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of Sainsbury's supermarkets. Your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Operating cleaning machinery
• Thorough cleaning activities such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as needed
• Working outside to keep trolley bays clean and free of leaves and debris
• Applying all health and safety procedures

Full training will be provided to support you in your role.

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential
• An eye for detail and cleanliness
• A positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service
• Must provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access the Arcus Connect App for recording time and attendance (this is a condition of employment)
