About the role:

The role has been created due to growth opportunities and successes across retail financial services markets.


This role is within PwC's Risk line of service within the Financial Services practice. We work with clients to help solve their biggest challenges and to do work that matters.


Our Risk division aims for growth over the next 3 years and beyond. Within our Financial Services practice, the Banking Conduct team is looking for passionate and experienced individuals with an innovation and growth mindset to join this journey.

What your days will look like:

As a Senior Associate, you will deliver client solutions helping retail banking clients manage conduct risks and deliver good customer outcomes. This is a growth priority, offering a chance to be at the forefront of our retail banking conduct proposition during industry changes.


You will have a client-facing role, working on client engagements and coaching junior staff.

Typical projects include:

  • Consumer Duty and Regulatory reforms
  • Non-financial risk transformation
  • Consumer credit and lending practices
  • Regulatory authorisations and licensing
This role is for you if you have:
  • Experience in financial services, especially regarding non-financial and conduct risk or controls from consulting, industry, or regulatory perspectives
  • A proven track record of supporting teams across project work-streams and managing stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • The ability to apply good judgment and support conclusions to senior personnel
  • Commercial awareness of retail banking models and sound reporting skills
  • Flexibility to participate in varied retail banking projects
  • An understanding of the customer journey/experience in a regulated retail banking environment
