About Us

We are a friendly independant jewellery business based in Burnley since 1985. We offer sales in gold, silver, platinum and diamond jewellery, including wedding and engagement rings. We also offer a jewellery repair service.

Our small supportive team takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for customers and staff alike.

Role Description

This is an on-site role with the expected working days being Wednesday - Saturday (to be confirmed).

We are looking for someone to join the team and become part of the Peters Jewellers family with the potential to take on more responsibilities. We are a small shop with a great team that supports each other.

The Retail Sales associate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, helping customers find the perfect item and processing sales on our computer system. They will also be responsible for taking in repairs and understanding what work needs carrying out, training for this will be provided along with stock handling and overtime the opening and closing of the shop when needed.

Important Notes

• Must be available to work Saturdays, the working week will likely be Wednesday - Saturday with extra hours available for cover.
• Need to be flexible and available to work holiday cover when needed.
• We are only a small shop so we’re looking for somebody who is approachable and confident with building rapport with customers and other staff. You must be comfortable in a small working area.
