Welcome to Warner Bros. Discovery… the stuff dreams are made of.

Who We Are…

When we say, “the stuff dreams are made of,” we’re not just referring to the world of wizards, dragons and superheroes, or even to the wonders of Planet Earth. Behind WBD’s vast portfolio of iconic content and beloved brands, are the storytellers bringing our characters to life, the creators bringing them to your living rooms and the dreamers creating what’s next…

From brilliant creatives, to technology trailblazers, across the globe, WBD offers career defining opportunities, thoughtfully curated benefits, and the tools to explore and grow into your best selves. Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.

Your New Role...

At Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter, we pride ourselves in being renowned for our world class customer service and best in class products.

Who we are looking for are naturally friendly, enthusiastic and all-round positive individuals who want to be proud of their work. So, what makes a fantastic Retail Associate? You see a queue at the till? You jump on to reduce the customers waiting time. We’ve run out of Gryffindor Jumpers? You take the initiative and replenish them yourself. It’s about being positive, finding solutions, and having the confidence to do what’s right for our customers.

What’s in it for you?
  • £13.45 per hour

  • 25 days holiday (pro-rata)

  • GymPass or free access to our on-site gym

  • Exclusive access to our Screeners App, with our exciting Warner Bros. and HBO content

  • Staff discounts on Studio Tour tickets, retail, food and beverage

  • Access to Friends and Family events

  • Free on-site staff car parking

  • Complimentary staff shuttle bus between Watford Junction and our Studio Tour

  • On-site staff Studio Café

  • Option to join our pension and private healthcare schemes

Your Role Accountabilities…
  • Proactively engage with and assist our customers.

  • Operate our tills in an efficient manner.

  • Help to ensure products are available to customers at all times.

  • Ensure our sales targets are achieved by fully maximising all sales opportunities.

  • This role requires that you be able to lift, carry and move boxes. It is also a role in a very busy Tour where there is lots of visual and audio stimuli.

Qualifications & Experience…
  • Effective, confident communication, engaging proactively with visitors and colleagues.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

  • The ability to keep calm under pressure.

  • The initiative to identify jobs that need completed.

  • An ability to work at pace whilst maintaining great customer service.

Working Pattern…
  • We have multiple intake dates across the year which would require you to complete 2 weeks full time training (Monday-Friday), before starting your contracted hours.

  • Contracts are for 32 or 40 hours per week, and you will be required to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

  • Your normal hours of work are between 7am and 10pm. Occasionally working hours could run until 1am for events, for which you will be notified in advance.

  • Availability required to work late nights, events and to support stock replenishment.

Department Overview...

Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter is the only place in the world to showcase the authentic sets, props and behind-the-scenes secrets of the Harry Potter films at the location where they were made. It has attracted over 14 million visitors since opening in 2012, features retail stores with merchandise celebrating the Harry Potter film series and has received over 40,000+ reviews on TripAdvisor with 96% rating the experience as ‘excellent’ or ‘very good’. Since launching, additions to the Studio Tour include Platform 9 ¾ featuring the original Hogwarts Express, the Forbidden Forest and Gringotts Wizarding Bank. In December 2018, Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden acquired the Platform 9 ¾ group which sells Wizarding World merchandise, souvenirs, and collectibles.
