Job summary

Primark Hastings is hiring a Retail Assistant on a fixed-term, part-time contract. Shifts include Sundays 10:00–16:00 and Saturdays 09:00–18:00, totaling 12 hours per week. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and benefits, with eligibility to work in the UK and age 18+ requirements.

You will deliver a friendly customer experience, assist with sizes and returns, maintain a well-presented shop floor, and support till operations. Training and development opportunities are available.

• Receive deliveries, price items, and keep stock presentable on the shop floor.

Pay rate: £13.00 per hour

Employment type: Fixed Term (Contract end date - 2nd Jan 2027)

Job type: Part time

Contracted hours: 12 hours per week

Shift pattern: shifts between 10:00 - 16:00 on Sundays, & between 09:00 - 18:00 on Saturdays - all will be discussed at interview.

• You must have right to work eligibility in the UK. Please verify the contracted hours for this role if you have visa restrictions that limit the hours you can work.

What you'll do

As a Retail Assistant you'll be making customer's day, every day. Here's a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced - all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
