Primark is hiring a Stockroom Retail Assistant in Bury St Edmunds. The role involves keeping the stockroom organised, transferring stock to the sales floor, receiving deliveries, and maintaining a safe, efficient stock area.

• Minimise damage and loss by handling stock safely and professionally.
• Support colleagues on the shop floor by keeping stock accessible and well displayed.

Pay rate: £13.00 per hour
Employment type: Fixed Term (Contract end date - 3rd Jan 2027)
Job type: Full Time
Contracted hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shift pattern: Shifts between07:00-16:00 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday- Details will be discussed at interview.

• You must have right to work eligibility in the UK. Please verify the contracted hours for this role if you have visa restrictions that limit the hours you can work.
• Applicants must be aged 18 or over due to legislation around equipment use and health and safety.

As a Stockroom Retail Assistant, you'll be keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Here's a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Keeping the stockroom looking great and well organised to allow better visibility and to promote a safe working environment.
• Transferring stock between the stockroom and the sales floor.
• Receiving, unpacking, checking off and organising new deliveries every day in a fast and efficient way, making sure all goods are packed away or put out for sale.
• Acting in a safe and professional manner making sure we minimise stick damage and loss.
• Providing a great stockroom environment by organising and allocating the stock while supporting and helping the colleagues on the salesfloor.
