Retail Assistant - Part Time, 12 hours, evenings & weekends

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Longton, Staffordshire. We offer a permanent part-time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days each week, including weekends.

Please note that this position requires availability for shifts on weekday evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday. It may not be suitable if you are unavailable at these times.

Pay & Benefits:

The pay depends on your age:

• Ages 16-20 = £10.10 per hour
• Ages 21+ = £12.31 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers with a friendly smile and greeting
• Assist customers in finding products
• Provide fast, friendly service at the tills, including packing and goodbyes
• Handle stock carefully during deliveries, restocking shelves and freezers
• Maintain shop safety, cleanliness, and tidiness with team support
