Retail Assistant - Part Time, 20 hours, evenings & weekends

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. This is a permanent part-time position with a minimum of 20 hours over 4 days each week, including evenings and weekends.

Please note that availability for shifts on weekday evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday is required. If you are not available during these times, this position may not be suitable for you.

Pay & Benefits:

The pay depends on your age:

• Ages 16-20 = £10.10 per hour
• Ages 21+ = £12.31 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers with a friendly smile and greeting
• Assist customers in finding products
• Provide quick and friendly service at the tills, including packing and goodbyes
• Handle stock carefully during deliveries, stocking shelves and freezers
• Maintain shop safety, cleanliness, and tidiness with your team
