Retail Assistant - Part Time, 8 hours, evenings & weekends

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. We offer a permanent part-time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 8 hours worked over 2 days from 7 each week, including weekends.

Please note that this position will require you to be available for shifts on weekday evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday. This position may not be suitable for you if you are not available to work at these times.

Pay & benefits:

The amount that you will earn depends on your age:

• Ages 16-20 = £10.10 per hour
• Ages 21+ = £12.31 per hour

As one of our retail assistants you will:

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and greeting.
• Help customers find items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, assisting with packing and leaving a positive impression with a thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock carefully during deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves.
• Work with your team to keep the shop safe, clean, and tidy through daily routines.

You will need:

• A friendly, positive, and hardworking approach.
• Enjoy staying busy, from putting out deliveries to serving customers, cleaning, and stock rotation.
• Reliability as part of a small team, with colleagues and customers depending on you.
• Flexibility in shifts, with some planning three weeks in advance, considering your outside commitments.
