Retail Assistant - Part Time, 16 hours, early starts

We are seeking a retail assistant for our shop in Longsight, Greater Manchester. This permanent part-time role involves a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 16 hours over 4 days each week, including weekends.

Note: This position requires availability for early morning shifts. If early mornings are unsuitable for you, this role may not be the best fit.

Pay & Benefits:

The pay rate depends on age:

• 16-20 years old = £10.10/hour
• 21+ years old = £12.31/hour

Responsibilities:

• Welcoming customers with a friendly smile and greeting
• Assisting customers in finding products
• Providing fast and friendly service at the tills, including packing and goodbyes
• Handling stock carefully during deliveries, stocking shelves and freezers
• Maintaining shop safety, cleanliness, and tidiness with your team

• Reliability as part of a small team
• Flexibility with shifts, with planning three weeks in advance and consideration for personal commitments
