Overview

New Shop Opening - Multiple Part Time Retail Assistant Positions Available! We are looking to recruit part time retail assistants for our new shop opening in Hyndburn Retail Park, Blackburn (postcode: BB1 3HT). We can offer a range of part time contracts with a variety of different shift patterns available.

Before applying, please note the following to ensure these opportunities are right for you:

• Your initial training will take place in one of our local shops; all travel and accommodation expenses (if required) will be covered during the training period.
• All positions will involve some weekend work.

Pay & Benefits

The amount you will earn depends on your age:

• Ages 16-20 = £10.10 per hour
• Ages 21+ = £12.31 per hour

As one of our retail assistants you will

• Make all of our customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello
• Help customers find the items they are looking for
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, help to pack, and leave a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, placing products into freezers and shelves for customers to buy
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep our shops safe, clean and tidy

You will need

• A friendly, positive, hard-working approach to work
• Enjoy being busy and flexible enough to jump between tasks such as deliveries, till service, customer assistance, cleaning and stock rotation
• Reliability as you will be an important part of a small team
• A bit of flexibility with shifts; rotas are planned three weeks in advance and commitments outside of work will be considered when planning shifts
