Retail Assistant - Part Time, 16 hours

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Kidderminster, Worcestershire. We offer a permanent part-time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 16 hours worked over 4 days from 7 each week, including weekends.

Pay & benefits:

The amount you will earn depends on your age:

• Ages 16-20 = £10.10 per hour
• Ages 21+ = £12.31 per hour

As one of our retail assistants, you will:

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and greeting
• Help customers find what they are looking for
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help with packing and leaving a good impression
• Handle stock carefully during deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and on shelves
• Work with your team to keep our shops safe, clean, and tidy

You will need:

• A friendly, positive, and hardworking approach
• Enjoy staying busy, jumping between tasks like deliveries, serving customers, cleaning, and stock rotation
• Reliability, as you will be an important part of a small team
• Flexibility with shifts, with planning three weeks in advance and consideration of your outside commitments
