Retail Assistant - Part Time, 12 hours

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Blantyre, South Lanarkshire. We offer a permanent part-time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days from 7 each week, including weekends.

Pay & Benefits:

The amount that you will earn depends on your age:

• Ages 16-20 = £10.10 per hour
• Ages 21+ = £12.31 per hour

As one of our retail assistants, you will:

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care during deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves.
• Work with your team to keep our shops safe, clean, and tidy through daily routines.

You will need:

• A friendly, positive, hardworking approach.
• Enjoy being busy, with tasks ranging from deliveries to serving customers and maintaining shop standards.
• Reliability, as you will be an important part of a small team.
• Flexibility with shifts, with planned rotas three weeks in advance, considering your outside commitments.
