Placements24 is seeking a proactive Retail Assistant Manager to support the store manager at the Queenstown location. You will assist with daily store activities, lead the sales team, manage inventory and ensure a superior customer experience.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a retail leadership role such as supervisor or assistant manager.
Strong understanding of retail sales principles and customer service best practices.
Excellent communication, leadership and team-building skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
Proficiency with POS systems and basic inventory management software.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
Lead and motivate the retail team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
Ensure store merchandising and visual standards are maintained to the highest level.
Manage inventory levels, process stock deliveries, and conduct regular stock counts.
Handle customer escalations and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
