Retail Assistant Manager Store Operations

The Company

A business with a long and rich heritage, this retailer of all things garden and home related has invested heavily in store refurbishment, acquisition, and expansion. It is one of the best-known businesses in its sector. As part of the ongoing growth and development, they are now looking to recruit a Store Operations Manager for this well-established site.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, the responsibilities include:

1. Managing all back-of-house functions, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to stock, packaging, and availability KPIs.
2. Administrative management of store operations, ensuring paperwork is processed accurately and promptly.
3. Handling cash, banking, and producing financial reports, including payroll.
4. Order control and processing.
5. Maintaining site Health and Safety standards.
6. Leading, managing, and developing a small team of direct reports while influencing the wider site team.
7. Duty management for the entire site in the GM's absence.

The Candidate
