Retail Store Assistant

£12.21 per hour plus benefits

Reports to: Shop manager

Department: Trading

Location: Liverpool Superstore

Contract: Permanent x 4

Working hours: Part time 15 hours per week

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent customer and supporter service.
  • Achieving sales and fundraising targets as part of the shop team.
  • Maintaining shop standards, visual presentation, safeguarding, and health and safety.
  • Building relationships with the community and colleagues.
  • Supporting fundraising events.
  • Taking keyholder responsibilities (training provided).
  • Manual handling and physical activity involved in daily duties.

Candidate requirements:

  • Understanding of excellent customer service.
  • Experience in a busy customer service environment.
  • Ability to manage workload independently.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis, respecting work-life balance.
