Job summary

Aramark UK are recruiting a Retail Assistant for Leuchars Station, offering a friendly, customer-focused role in a busy retail environment. You will assist customers, operate the till, replenish stock, and help maintain a clean, well-organised shop to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, friendly, and professional approach to customer service.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required.
• Basic numeracy skills and confidence handling cash transactions.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with purchases and enquiries
• Operating the till and handling transactions accurately
• Replenishing stock and ensuring shelves are fully stocked and well presented
• Receiving and storing deliveries in line with company procedures
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the retail area
• Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages where necessary
• Following all food safety, health & safety, and security procedures
