Job description

Caroline Eve opened our first store nearly 40 years ago, and it is our privilege to be part of each community where we are located.

We are looking for a part-time Retail Assistant to be part of our team.

We believe that our team members have the ability to provide the best customer service ever, and to help our customers feel confident when they wear our clothes.

You will create an emotional connection with every customer by being a passionate and enthusiastic Caroline Eve brand ambassador.

If you value great customer service yourself, we will train you in the Caroline Eve way of doing things, plus offer you a great clothing discount and seasonal allowance and pay you a weekly bonus if your team meets its targets.

This role works 36.5 hours per fortnight on a 2-week roster.

Week One is Monday 9.00-4.00, Tuesday 9.30-4.00, Friday 10.30-2.30, Saturday 09.30-1.00.

Week Two is Monday 9.00-4.00, Tuesday 9.30-4.00, Friday 10.30-2.30.

This role also covers for other team members when they are on leave or work additional hours during promotional periods and public holidays. This is a permanent part-time position, so you must be able to work on these particular days and hours.

In retail, we appreciate flexibility, so being available to work weekends and public holidays is important.

Working in retail is rewarding, but it is hard work. You need to be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time and lift, pack and unpack boxes of stock. We are a small team, so we all learn and are responsible for doing everything in store.
