Job description

We're looking for a Retail Assistant who will be the face of our business, delivering exceptional customer service for Defence on a part-time basis, contracted to 20 hours per week. You'll join a team that takes pride in its work, its food, and values its people.

As a Retail Assistant, you will contribute to a passionate and friendly team working in a fast-paced environment. We offer opportunities for progression within a company that invests in its employees, celebrates individuality, and rewards those who go beyond expectations.

Shift patterns will include rotating shifts. Please note: This role is contracted for 50 weeks per year.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Serving customers, ensuring they receive an easy and seamless personalized experience
• Being knowledgeable about our service and helping customers with natural, engaging service
• Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image
• Handling cash and operating the cash register
• Complying with Health and Safety regulations
