Job summary

Primark Hanley is seeking a part-time Retail Assistant to help customers on the shop floor and at tills. You’ll assist shoppers with sizes and styles, process purchases and returns, and ensure the sales floor is neat and well stocked. Flexible shifts and weekend work are discussed at interview.

Experience with high fashion at affordable prices, friendly communication, and teamwork will help you succeed. The role offers a supportive environment with growth opportunities and an employee discount.

Qualifications

• You’ll provide friendly customer service and help shoppers with sizes, styles, purchases and returns.
• You’ll keep the shop floor attractive and shelves well stocked, fitting rooms tidy, and displays up to date.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with an amazing experience at till points, answering queries and processing returns.
• Set up a well-presented shop floor with full shelves and correct pricing on new deliveries.
• Deliver fast, friendly till service and handle queries, voids and returns.
• Receive, unpack and check deliveries, ensure products are priced correctly and on display.

Location: Primark Hanley
Pay rate: £13.00 per hour
Employment type: Permanent
Job type: Part time
Contracted hours: 6 to 20 hours per week
Shift pattern: Varied shifts between 05:00 to 18:00 including weekends – all will be discussed at interview.

As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customer’s day, every day. Here’s a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
