Job summary

Primark Salisbury is hiring a Retail Assistant on a part-time, fixed-term basis through January 2027. The role covers varied shifts (mornings to weekends) with contracted hours of 20–28.5 per week and a pay rate of £13.00 per hour.

You’ll help customers, keep the shop floor attractive, process till transactions and ensure deliveries are priced and presented correctly. There are benefits and development pathways for employees.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Must be 18 or over for hours outside standard times.
• Customer-focused with good communication and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with sizes, styles, purchases or returns.
• Set up a well-presented shop floor with shelves, fitting rooms and displays of the latest fashion.
• Deliver a fast, friendly till experience, handling queries, voids and returns.
• Receive, unpack and check deliveries; price products and ensure high standards on the shop floor.

Shift pattern: Varied shifts including mornings; afternoons; evenings and weekends – all will be discussed at interview.

What you’ll do

As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customer’s day, every day. Here’s a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
