Job summary

Primark Kingston is hiring a Retail Assistant to join our store team. You will help customers with sizes, styles, and purchases, ensuring a welcoming shopping environment and accurate till operations.

The role involves stocking shelves, maintaining fitting rooms, and assisting with deliveries and pricing. The position is fixed-term, part-time (16–20 hours per week) with varied shifts between 09:00 and 22:00, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Providing excellent customer service and assisting with sizes or styles.
• Maintaining a well-presented shop floor and clean fitting rooms.
• Processing till transactions and handling returns quickly and accurately.

Pay rate: £13.71 Per hour
Employment type: Fixed term
Job type: Part time
Contracted hours: 16 to 20 hours per week
Shift pattern: Varied shifts from 09:00 to 22:00 including mornings; afternoons; evenings and weekends – all will be discussed at interview.

• Applicants must be aged 18 or over where the role requires regular working hours before 6:00am or after 11:00pm, due to legal restrictions on the working hours of young workers.

What you’ll do

As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customer’s day, every day. Here’s a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
