Overview

pursue what matters Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Retail Assistant to join our team working at Brookwood Family Shop Premier, GU24 0DT. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating tills, checking stock, restocking goods, arranging merchandise displays, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a clean and tidy workspace. You must have resided in the UK for the past 3 years, have a legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

Responsibilities
  • Serving customers, taking payments, and keeping accurate records.
  • Receiving and putting out deliveries, restocking goods, and ensuring attractive displays of merchandise.
  • Stock taking, ordering, and notifying line manager of any deficient goods.
  • Cleaning front and back of house areas, keeping shop and stock rooms tidy.
  • Reporting to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified in the workplace.
  • Following food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements.
  • Learning to open and close the retail unit.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
  • Have resided in the UK for the past 3 years and have a legal right to work in the UK.

Details & Benefits
  • This is a permanent full-time position, 35 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 (including some weekends). Shift times are Earlies (06:30 to 14:30) and Lates (13:30 to 20:15).
  • Hourly pay rate: £12.21.
