You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating tills, checking stock, restocking goods, arranging merchandise displays, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a clean and tidy workspace. Responsibilities

• Serving customers, taking payments, and keeping accurate records.
• Receiving and putting out deliveries, restocking goods, and ensuring attractive displays of merchandise.
• Stock taking, ordering, and notifying line manager of any deficient goods.
• Cleaning front and back of house areas, keeping shop and stock rooms tidy.
• Reporting to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified in the workplace.
• Following food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements.
• Learning to open and close the retail unit.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
• Have resided in the UK for the past 3 years and have a legal right to work in the UK.
• Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as full on-the-job training will be provided.
• Customer service experience desirable.
• Must be comfortable working alongside a team and occasional lone working.

Details & Benefits

• This is a permanent full-time position, 35 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 (including some weekends). Shift times are Earlies (06:30 to 14:30) and Lates (13:30 to 20:15).
• Hourly pay rate: £12.21.
