Position: Retail Assistant

Location: Near Long Stratton

Hours: 37 hours per week across 5 days, including weekends on a rota basis

Start Date: Immediate

Pay: £12.21 per hour (negotiable)

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our client's team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoys providing excellent service to customers.

About the Role:

As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times. Your duties will include:

1. Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
2. Managing stock levels and replenishing shelves
3. Operating the till and handling transactions accurately
4. Ensuring the shop floor is clean, tidy, and well-presented
5. Working collaboratively with team members to meet sales and service targets
6. Following company procedures and health & safety guidelines

1. Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or service role
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
3. A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently when needed
4. Flexibility to work weekends as part of a rotating schedule
