Job summary

Primark Leicester is seeking a Retail Assistant to join our store team on a part-time, fixed-term contract. Location is Leicester Fosse Park with varied shifts, delivering excellent customer service and supporting store presentation.

You will help customers, process purchases and returns, and ensure product availability and pricing accuracy. Benefits include pension, employee discount, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with sizes, styles, purchases or returns to provide a great shopping experience.
• Keep shop floor tidy and well merchandised, with clean fitting rooms and up-to-date pricing.
• Operate tills efficiently and handle queries, voids and returns.
• Receive and check deliveries, stock shelves, and ensure products are priced correctly.

Pay rate: £13.00 per hour.
Employment type: Fixed term contract (09-01-2027)
Job type: Part time
Contracted hours:08 - 20 hours per week
Shift pattern: Varied shifts including mornings; afternoons; evenings and weekends – all will be discussed at interview.

What you’ll do

As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customer’s day, every day. Here’s a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
