Job summary

Primark Guildford is recruiting a part-time Retail Assistant on a fixed-term contract ending 02 January 2027. The role covers 20 hours per week with varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

You will help customers, keep shelves tidy, price products, and support deliveries while maintaining Primark’s high standards and fast, friendly service.

Responsibilities

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.

Job description

Location: Primark Guildford. Pay rate: £13.00 per hour. Employment type: Fixed Term Contract (Contract End Date 02nd January 2027). Job type: Part time. Contracted hours: 20 hours per week. Shift pattern: Varied shifts including mornings; afternoons; evenings and weekends – all will be discussed at interview.

• You must have right to work eligibility in the UK. Please verify the contracted hours for this role if you have visa restrictions that limit the hours you can work.
• Applicants must be aged 18 or over where the role requires regular working hours before 6:00am or after 11:00pm, due to legal restrictions on the working hours of young workers.
